Small but brand new IHOP. You know the food so the big difference is the location. Connected to the mall across from the racetrack.

I usually do not write reviews but I visited this IHOP on July 1, 2015 between 9:30-10:20. Every time I've visited my experience had been great, besides that fact that this is the closet to Palm Coast. My family and I were in the area and we decided to eat breakfast. This time it wasn't at all and I was very disappointed. Being a culinary arts student in highschool our teacher tough us what to look for while dinning out. Before even being seated there was already a problem. I composed a list and this is how it started.... 1. Dirty table 2. Waitress with and attitude 3. Had to put sugar in my own sweet tea 4. Came by twice still no sliverware 5. Water for tea was cold 6. Came over to bring sliverwear with an attitude 7. Sliverwear napkin dirty 8. Reach across my drink 9. Didn't check label on tea before bringing it 10. Tea was too sweet had to add milk to it 11. Waitimg almost 30 minutes for food. 12. Mom sausage was over cooked and freezer burned 13. Waffle was gummy. Mom told me not to send it back. 14.Waffle was cold 15. Butter was hard, cold and basically frozen 16. Reach across my drink again key chain landed in my drink. Didn't ask me for a new drink or apologize 17. Replaced ugly sausage with overcooked bacon. 18. Manager had to check us out. Apparently I had an attitude. Yes I did I'm not paying you for crappy service. Mom gave $5 tip was not worth it. The only good thing were the chicken tenders with the chicken and waffles.

This is a decent IHOP across from Daytona Speedway and the Daytona Airport. It is clean throughout. Access and parking was very easy. A few benches on the inside to accommodate those waiting. We got the timing right and missed an early rush/exit and only had to wait a few minutes for them to clear a table. The hostess was very nice and our server (Valerie/Veronica - from San Diego via Loris, SC) was outstanding. She was super friendly and cheerful which is great first thing in the morning! She took care of us efficiently and checked back often and when we were done wished us safe travels and hoped we had a nice visit. I would recommend this IHOP over the one on A1A.

New building is great and its nice to have someplace always open. Food? Its just ok. But im not running back anytime soon. I ordered omelet made with egg beaters, and mushrooms. No cheese. So imagine my surprise when I get an omelet covered in cheese sauce. It was take out so whatever. Way too much unnecessary packaging for takeout. My hashbrowns were in one container and omelet in another. Both could have easily fit in one container without having to have both said containers in a plastic bag. What can I say, waste seems to be the American say. Every time I ask for less packaging people dont get it, so go with the flow.

Raspberry chocolate chip pancakes! Wow! It was a busy Saturday morning but the servers were really attentive. They also gave us Togo coffee for no extra charge! :)

All of the IHOP's I've been always have the same quality of food. Everything is pre-cooked, boxed or canned, there's not much room to mess up. What makes the experience different and more enjoyable are the waitresses. I've only been here a few times and it was always with my BFF. But each time was memorable. First time here we got a tall skinny blonde girl that seemed to be the only waitress on the floor. I could tell she was heavily over worked, but she was still pleasant and made no mistakes with our orders. Her right arm had a cloth-like bandage covering it. I could see on her hand that she had some sort of scar or burn. One could only assumed it covered her arm, thus the bandage. I'm sure there's an incredible story to it. What I like to think happened to her was that she was working on a secret experiment in an underground lab. As she was perfecting her work, a group of government agents exploded through the doors and wrecked the place. During the struggle, a beaker of acid shattered on her arm. She was able to escape but she had to keep a low profile. Which is why she got a job at IHOP in Daytona Beach. No one important will ever find her. Second trip here we got another blonde waitress. This one was your typical cheerleader type. She was a bit too friendly. I actually think she was trying to get a threesome going with my buddy and I. She kept asking "Is there anything extra I can do for you" and "You want anything in the back before while I charge your card?" Small innuendos like that. I didn't take her up on any of the offers, but I was definitely considering them. My latest trip is when we got to see the scientist again. I finally asked her what the deal with the arm was. She started to tell me "I use to work in this lab by th... oh, I mean.... I burnt my self cooking." The rest of the night she zoomed by us to avoid any further conversation. Hopefully this review doesn't blow her cover.

Oh IHOP how I've missed you so and I'm so happy that your back in my life again!! The new IHOP location is beautiful inside and outside. Upon approaching the two entrances the doors were opened for us by two employees. We were then promptly greeted by Brittany who immediately sat us at a table of Justin's. She pointed out the specials to us and within a few minutes Justin was there to greet us also. He was very knowledgable about the menu and was personable. The hubs ordered the 2x2x2 which included two eggs, two meats, and two pancakes. I ordered my favorite, the country fried steak and eggs. Both arrived within ten minutes and we were good to go. Slight mishap with the hubs eggs, they weren't cooked correctly but it was immediately rectified. We also spoke with the general manager, JP and we told him about how much we enjoyed our meal and the service that we received from Justin. Overall, we've already decided to go back for sure and we are already talking about our next visit.

Consistant food quality with all of the other ihop chans I have been to. We went on a Sunday morning and they were understandably busy. We were told the wait would be 15 minutes but we only waited about 5. The waitress warned us that the kitchen was backed up and the food would take a little longer as a result. Again we were at ihop on a sunday morning so we didn't expect anything less.

As a BIG fan of good food, it is not often you will ever find me eating in a chain restaurant. However, I do love me some breakfast all hours of the day. While Denny's has improved and Waffle House is a classic, IHOP has always had a much more varied selection of goodies to choose from I feel. I was very excited to check this one out when it finally opened. I have probably been to this location about 10 times since then. From the beginning of opening, to the current, I have always had a wonderful experience as far as staff goes. I have been all hours of the day including the middle of the night, and various days of the week, to even during different holidays and events in the area. The staff has always been very friendly, good humored, attentive, and over all outstanding. The few interactions I have had with management has always been pleasant as well. Most times I have found the greeting me right at the door when I walk in. My favorite server hands down is Isaak. He's got a good sense of humor, a great smile and is always quick with anything I need, sometimes even before I know I need it LOL. While I have found the quality of IHOP food to be much better up north, then down south, I do love it all. This location hands down has the best quality I have found yet though (grading on a FL IHOP standards scale that is, haha). I was afraid this location may end up going down hill with quality after the initial opening, as so many other locations in the area have (Esp the beachside location), but I don't think anytime soon will that be an issue at this one. The management and staff is def on their "A Game" here.

Brand new IHOP, and back on ISB where they've been missed. Glad I don't have to go all the way to beach side anymore to hit them up. I've been a few times. They always seems to be half full at their slowest times. The service has always been quick and friendly. As for the food, it's good old classic IHOP fare. If you're expecting something else, like some reviewers, yeah you'll be disappointed. But for classic American diner eats, this place does well and I've been happy every time. The only bad thing about this IHOP is their location to the tourist corridor and they're super busy on the weekend mornings. This is a good thing in a way, they shouldn't be going anywhere soon.

Well organized and smoothly run, even on a very busy Saturday morning! We stopped in to this crowded spot expecting a long wait for a table. Surprisingly, we were warmly greeted and told that the wait would only be about ten minutes long. Score! Here's what was ordered: a smoked sausage breakfast with scrambled eggs, hashbrowns (with onions and peppers), and Harvest Grain and Nut pancakes, and an all you can eat pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs (with cheddar) and bacon. The food arrived pretty quickly. However, the pancakes were barely warm. And the scrambled eggs that were ordered without cheese came with cheese. Certainly, hot pancakes are preferred. And luckily, I'm not allergic to cheese or dairy and was able to eat the eggs that had the unrequested cheese. Customer service was fabulous and the specialty coffee drink with caramel and whipped cream was delicious!

Our server was really nice and checked on us constantly to make sure everything was okay. The service was run pretty smoothly and quickly and the food and check came out promptly. The food was overall good, but not great. They can simply work on presentation and seasoning a bit better, but this can be understandable that they are very busy with the morning rush. I would definitely return to this restaurant again, but maybe not anytime soon.

All I can say is the 1950's called...they want their restaurant back! Brand new IHOP...same old interior design...are you kidding me? Get with the program. It is 2014 you know. Dark, dingy..food still sub-par. I liken it to Denny's, which isn't saying much. IHOP...you have a brand. Fire all the Corporate oldies and bring in some fresh blood! WILL NOT RETURN...my DeLorean is in the shop.

Not a huge fan of chain restaurants, but this place seems very well run. Service was superb. The food was fresh and at the table extremely fast. First time going to this location and I will definitely be back. Management and staff are very efficient and friendly.

In my opinion, this restaurant lacks good management and seems disoriented and untrained. It was terrible I felt. They screwed up my order and didn't appear to care. I had to ask for silverware and even straws until I finally gave up and reached over and got some from another table. Omelette cheese was ice cold and made wrong and sitting on top. Toast was made into garlic toast and then I had to argue over it all or so it felt. I was told they don't have a toaster and sometimes toast is raw on one side. What!!! They it took it back and magically they must have bought a toaster as it came out done correctly. Management knew of my dissatisfaction but made me feel like I was just trying to cause issues and wanted me out of there. I apologize for causing them to redo my food but I think if you are paying, you should have your order be correct and not cold.
